We will try but cannot guarantee to accommodate you where possible. First, we have to make sure that your new appointment won’t collide with other, earlier scheduled appointments.We do not overbook clinics but on occasions, it is possible that clinicians will run late in order to provide emergency care. We will inform you of any late running at reception when you register.Whilst we will endeavour to contact you by telephone, email, or text message to remind you of your appointment, we offer no assurance that this service will occur, it is your responsibility to attend a booked appointment. We have long waiting lists to see our specialists and clinicians. We understand your schedule changes and life goes on. To ensure timely appointments, and allow us to offer late appointments to other patients, we ask that you give us 24 hours notice if you cannot make an appointment. If you do not cancel, we will charge 50% of the consultation fee for nonattendance, which must be paid prior to any further appointment. There is no fee payable if 24 hours notice is given.For medico-legal reasons and to ensure appropriate time, questions, and diligence, our Consultants in Sports and Exercise Medicine do not enter into email or telephone consultation with patients following consultation, feedback or discussion. Follow up appointments are required to discuss further results, feedback following interventions and onward referrals.
